October 6, 2025

HUNTSVILLE, AL – Titomic Limited (ASX: TTT), a global leader in cold spray additive manufacturing utilizing our Titomic Kinetic Fusion™ technology, is pleased to announce that the CEO and Managing Director, Jim Simpson, has been formally inducted into the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Sydney, Australia.

The IAA is a globally recognized, independent organization comprised of distinguished individuals elected by their peers for their outstanding contributions to astronautics and space exploration. Membership in the Academy is considered one of the highest honors in the aerospace community, reflecting exceptional achievement and leadership in advancing humanity’s reach beyond Earth.

Founded in 1960, the IAA plays a vital role in shaping the future of astronautics through a wide range of scientific and publication programs. These include the development of cosmic studies and position papers on critical issues in space science, the publication of four academic book series and the highly regarded journal Acta Astronautica, and the organization of 25 to 30 regional and international conferences each year. The Academy also contributes significantly to major global events such as the International Astronautical Congress (IAC), the IPSPACE Symposium, the Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) Scientific Assembly, and the International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) Congress. Unique among organizations in this field, the IAA is the only international academy of elected members representing the full spectrum of astronautics and space disciplines.

Jim Simpson’s induction recognizes his leadership and significant contributions to aerospace and space exploration. His expertise and vision continue to guide Titomic in applying advanced manufacturing technologies to deliver innovations for defense, aerospace, and other critical industries.

“It is an incredible honor to be welcomed into the International Academy of Astronautics. I look forward to collaborating with fellow members to further advance humanity’s exploration of space and contribute to the Academy’s mission.”
