Titomic Achieves DNV Qualification for Oil & Gas
Independent validation strengthens Titomic’s position in corrosion protection market for the Oil & Gas sector
HUNTSVILLE, AL – Titomic Limited (ASX: TTT), a global advanced manufacturing company serving the U.S. and allied defense industrial base, is pleased to announce that they have received a Statement of Qualification from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for the use of their low and medium-pressure systems for the in-field application of aluminum coatings for corrosion protection for use in Oil & Gas. This represents a significant milestone for Titomic and provides important independent validation of their Titomic Kinetic Fusion™ (TKF)™ Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing technology for corrosion protection, repair, and coating applications in demanding operational environments.
The qualification validates Titomic’s technical and capabilities with their customers, partners, and regulatory stakeholders by confirming the suitability of their systems for protective conformal coatings, corrosion mitigation and repair in the field. Titomic’s TKF™ technology offers a portable, field-deployable solution for environmental, physical, and corrosion protection and repair, providing a practical and efficient alternative to traditional thermal spray aluminum (TSA) methods. This positions Titomic to better support the Oil & Gas industry, where reliability, process discipline, and execution in the field are critical.
