Titomic Signs MOU with University of North Texas

HUNTSVILLE, AL – Titomic Limited (ASX: TTT), a global leader in Titomic Kinetic Fusion™, a cold spray additive manufacturing technology, is pleased to announce it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of North Texas (UNT) to accelerate research, education, and innovation in advanced manufacturing.

Under the agreement, Titomic will collaborate with UNT’s Center for Agile and Adaptive Additive Manufacturing (CAAAM) to facilitate the integration and use of Titomic’s TKF™ systems at the University. This partnership will serve as a platform for cutting-edge research, hands-on training, and industry-driven innovation in cold spray and hybrid manufacturing technologies.

The MOU outlines several key areas of collaboration, including:

  • Technology Integration: Deployment of Titomic’s cold spray systems at CAAAM to expand research capabilities and industrial applications of cold spray additive manufacturing.
  • Joint Research & Development: Advancing new processes, materials, and applications in cold spray additive manufacturing through cooperative R&D programs.
  • Education & Training: Development of specialized training programs and curricula to equip UNT students, staff, and industry partners with practical knowledge in cold spray and hybrid manufacturing.
  • Innovation & Technology Transfer: Promoting the transfer of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and expertise to students, researchers, and industry.
  • Collaborative Publications & Grants: Exploring co-authored publications, joint grant proposals, and the development of intellectual property that leverages the strengths of both organizations.
