WHAT IS TITOMIC KINETIC FUSION™?

Titomic Kinetic Fusion™ is an advanced technology that coats surfaces with thin layers of specialty metals without ever melting them. Metal particles are accelerated to supersonic velocity and fused onto a substrate forming a solid state, multi-material component.
Titomic utilizes cold spray technology to apply customized, contiguous shield coatings for specific environments and events. By analyzing the specific mission, Titomic designs a tailored shield for the product or system for survivability and/or extended operational life.
The size, shape, materials, and thickness are digitized using software that precisely determines the necessary shielding. The shielding design is then sprayed by layer directly onto the components.
